Born on the Beach
It began so simply – on the beach. Seventeen years ago the first Taco Del Mar shack opened for business on a Seattle Pier. Inspired by the burrito beach shacks in Baja, California – surf culture was transported to the grey drizzle of Seattle when Taco Del Mar opened for business.
We could all use a little more beach in our lives. It’s a craving for something simple yet powerful. Taco Del Mar brings a little bit of the beach to every bite and makes us feel alive. Connected. We crave not only the taste but the lifestyle it brings. Bite into a fish taco and you’re transported somewhere warm and breezy. Dig into a mondo burrito and you’re ready to ride the waves again, even if they’re just in the halls of your school.
It began so simply and it has stayed that way for good reason. We exist to be the beach in people’s day. We are the favorite beach-front burrito stand that just happens to be down the street. And at the beach, every day is a great day Crave the real flavor. Crave the real lifestyle. Crave Taco Del Mar.
Taco Del Mar. Keeping it real.
How does Taco Del Mar bring the beach to your day? When you’re looking for the simple, unpretentious, cool vibe of the beach, what do you surf? Do you surf the web? Climb a mountain? Write a poem?
When life’s stresses are distracting, what do you crave? When you want to get away, where is it you want to go?
Taco Del Mar strives on providing a sincere, real experience to every customer. We’re a little irreverent, we’re a little rough around the edges, but our food is simple, it’s real, and it’s inspired by the beach. Our advertising should reflect our core values. We are Baja Surfer Soul Food. We are Taco Del Mar.
