Dr. Joanne Culverhouse - UNR Basketball

Dr. Joanne Culverhouse played basketball, volleyball, and softball at the University of Nevada, Reno on a full ride scholarship. After letting her grades slip and nearly losing her scholarship, Culverhouse decided that academics needed to be equally as important as athletics. Her renewed focus on athletics propelled her to get a Phd and pursue a career in education, where she has impacted the lives of thousands of children, grades K-12, in California and Nevada.
